On the Job, Paid Med Tech Training Provided!
Hours: FT, 2:00 - 10:00 p.m. 4-5 days per week including every other weekend
Pay: $17.00/hour
Duties: Our Personal Care Aides provide direct care services and medication administration for our 44 residents as well as assisting with laundry, housekeeping and dining room duties.

| Requirements |
Qualifications: (First Aid & CPR, Medication Administration Certification and Insulin Certification provided on the job)
- High School Diploma or equivalent or PA Nurses’ Aide Certification
- Must be First Aid, CPR and AED certified, able to perform the Heimlich procedure.
- Must complete and maintain Medication Administration Certification including insulin training.
- Must complete required 12 hours of annual training (plus any additional trainings assigned).
- Proficient in use of computer and related technology required for the role.
- Possesses good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates a pleasant personality with flexibility and adaptability for frequent interruptions.
Specific Requirements:
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Ability to patiently, tactfully and enthusiastically deal with personnel, residents, family members, etc.,
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Ability to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
- Ability to complete tasks assigned for each shift and document on the daily shift check list.
Physical and Sensory Requirements (with or without the aid of mechanical devices):
- Must be able to move throughout the building throughout the work day.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. Subject to interruptions and hostile/emotionally upset residents and family members.
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use a prosthetic that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements for this position can be fully met.
- Must function independently and with flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel and support agencies.
- Primarily walks, bends, lifts, reaches, stands and grasps intermittently during working hours. May also climb, push, pull and crouch. Must be able to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
