Recent changes by the Social Security Administration could make it more difficult for senior living residents to access their Social Security benefits, affecting their ability to pay for their care and services, Argentum President and CEO James Balda told Acting Social Security Administration Commissioner Leland Dudek.

Balda sent a letter to Dudek on Tuesday expressing concerns that changes to the agency aimed at preventing waste and fraud actually could inhibit the ability of residents to access their benefits.
